Maryland 201 is a light air-cured variety with high resistance to TMV and middle-resistance to Fusarium wilt. It looks very similar to the MD-64 with a slightly lower yield, but a higher quality leaf. Plants reach 6 feet in height and maturity at 55-60 days. The leaves ripen as it reaches maturity and turns a light yellow making it very easy to cure.

Negro Black grows 5′ to 6′ in height with a classic Virginian type plant form and leaf shape. The leaves are a medium to dark green averaging 12″ to 14″ in width and 20″ to 22″ in length. It matures in 55-60 days.
